Michael Wolffsen, his fiancée, and nephew return to the family compound to care for his father, Gary, who has become paranoid and obsessed with making his home unassailable. While Michael initially believes that Gary is suffering from symptoms of dementia, they soon learn that Gary has good reason to fear. Something evil lurks outside the compound, and it wants every last one of them dead.
